I’m not sure if God hates me or I’m cursed. Nothing ever works out for me and there’s been a dark cloud over me and my family for nearly 20 years. Please send prayers.

God doesn’t hate you or curse you. Sure bad things happened to you, but that doesn’t mean it is a curse or a punishment. Everyone has a bad days, even good people. We lived on Earth. But when we get to Heaven, we will have not so unlucky day.
I pray that God the Father will keep you in comfort. Know that He will be there with you while you are on Earth and after you enter Heaven

Hi Des, I’m sorry for the loss of your family member. I’m praying for you. Lately, I’m learning more about God and His character, nature and will through reading and studying scripture. They say that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came that we might have life and have it MORE abundantly. And death is an “the last enemy that will be destroyed.” These and others lead me to conclude God loves us and wants us to live and not die.
This from Hebrews 11:6 NASB comes to mind:
