Hello to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I’m Paul Huggins. I was born and bred in a beautiful seaside town called Hastings and happily married to my dear wife Berns.
Growing up in a broken home, my Mum Winny was so pleased when I joined a local boxing club aged nine. She said I hope it will keep you out of trouble. I was a very naughty boy.
I became the National British School boys Champion at 14 years of age. I turned professional aged 19 and was ranked number one in the UK professional boxing division after beating Vinzenzo Limatola, who was the European and Italian Champion back in 1987. I also had other inspiring fights, some being with the world champion Barry McGuigan, British Champion John Feeney, and many more.
After my boxing career and probably because I was crazy, I became head of a drug cartel. Smuggling cannabis into the UK. On my way through this horrible violent career, I ended up being arrested for murder. Then subsequently when the police searched my property, they found a loaded sawn-off shotgun!
Anyways to cut a very long and interesting story short, I was up in front of ‘send em down Brown’ a judge who hated guns. I got on my knees and prayed, If your real Jesus, please help me out here! I was sent down for 9 months! It was a miracle. The police couldn’t believe it.
While I was in Wormwood Scrubs Jail, I asked for a bible, I wanted to get to know who this Jesus bloke was. While I was reading the book of John, I had what I can only describe as a miraculous epiphany. Incredible. My life was turned upside down in a matter of minutes. From a violent evil ruthless criminal, to a passive Holy Spirit filled man of God! Before I was sentenced, the police said that I would be a criminal for the rest of my life. They were wrong.
Today along with my wife Berns, we have a ministry called Missionary Seed. S.E.E.D is an acronym, Support Educate Equip and Develop, which we do, ‘along with our amazing dedicated team’ with young people in the slums of Antipolo City Philippines, supporting these precious souls to come to know Christ Jesus, to get a good education and eventually a career, to help support their families.
My Wife and I belong to Emmanuel Church (meaning God with us) in Priory Road Hastings. A Church of England that has been active since 1873. I would appreciate your prayers that God, our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to guide our mission here on earth so that precious souls will be saved, and we pray also that both yours and our missions will be accomplished as we see many coming to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen. If you’d like to have a chat, or requests for prayer, then please do email us at missionaryseed at gmail dot com.

Hi Emory, thank you for putting my Testimony on your site, let us continue to walk with our Lord and pray for boldness as we carry out the great commission, and let us be glad that the Lord is pleased with us, even if we help just one stranger to know who our Saviours is. Thank you Jesus,
Dear Lord, we pray that you bless us, to be bold, so that we can be a blessing, to the lost and hurting. In Jesus name we ask, Amen.
