Girl watching meteor shower with telescope.

A Small Speck Compared to the God of the Universe.

January 2010, early dawn, I saw a meteor shower without using a telescope. At first, I heard a very loud and deep sound, like that of an airplane but a lot of times louder and much glorious than that. Then the sky went from pitch black to dark blue.

And as I saw the meteor shower, each comet passing by, I couldn’t help but recognize the glory of GOD.

I realized I am just a small speck compared to the GOD of the universe.

I got an understanding that it’s not mother nature, but it’s the creation of the Lord. That nature, in all its beauty, doesn’t have to be adored like GOD. Only GOD deserves our worship.

Just a few minutes after that, morning came. I told my mother about the meteor shower, but she wouldn’t believe me. They haven’t heard a thing. Even the news only reported a comet passing by.

But I know what I saw. It’s a meteor shower, and it’s extremely loud. How can anyone have missed it?

Fast forward, it’s now 2023, a few days from now and it will be 2024. But I can’t forget that day.

Why was I the only one who saw a meteor shower and others saw only a comet? What makes it special is that it shows me the glory of GOD, and I wasn’t a Christian at that time.

This I know for sure. LORD JESUS IS TRUE. THE REAL I AM, SON OF GOD, REDEEMER OF THE WORLD, LOVER OF OUR SOUL.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
