Hi, I never thought I would go through health problems at 58. But I did and what a test of my faith in Jesus. I had great health up to 58. January of 2020, I had my throat bothering me. Going to my doctor to only hear it’s allergies. After a couple times back to him I said please do an x-ray. The next day was the start of trusting God.
My doc informed me I had a mass in my left lung. Jan 29 had a CT. The doc at hospital came to me and said in 26 years had never seen this, a grapefruit size aneurysm on back side of my aorta. Within days I was in Kelowna B.C. for surgery. Feb 18 surgery they informed my wife the risk of death is hi, 6 hours later I was out and survived. That was only the start.
Now after 2020 heart surgery now August 2021 I was in VGH for primary Mila fibroses. I needed a bone marrow transplant. 6 days of hi dose chemo, downhill I went. 3 infections in body a fungus in lungs, I had 2 days to live.
I prayed to Jesus and said if it’s time take me, I was on a ventilator 3 times, kids came said goodbye, said goodbye. My wife, a special gift from God, told me I’m not going. FAITH. After 4 months in hospital and 58 lbs. smaller I was going home. This is March 2023 my blood works perfect. In bed dying I had peace no fear.
Thank you Tyler for sharing your testimony. I too have multiple health issues and God has been healing me one by one. Reading these testimonies, like yours, helps to increase my faith and gives me hope in God. I’m up right now and it’s 3 AM. I have a surgery later today for a sinus issue, plus I am experiencing this tinnitus which is maddening. Like you, I have also lost too much weight, 50lbs. I look malnourished and my muscle tone is gone. Tyler, if you read my comment, please pray for me and ask God for full and completing healing from tinnitus, my jaw issue and the sinus issue that I am having surgery for later today. Please ask God to help me get back to a healthy weight and to give me my muscle tone back. Just to encourage you, I was diagnosed with cancer two months ago. Ironically, the surgery which identified the cancer is the same surgery that removed the cancer. God is good all the time. AMEN!
