A week a go. I went out for evangelism in a small village close to a township that I reside. The Holy Spirit directed me to buy few grocery items to share with the people I went to share the word of God with. I obeyed and did just that!
It wasn’t a lot of things that I bought a few tablets of soap and some sugar.
A few days passed and a friend that we stayed abroad together sent me a message asking of how I am doing. I replied all is well. Jokingly asking for some organic from food from home. Which I replied are out of season.
He later said it is better if he can rather share with me some money for data, since data is so expensive in my country. I took it as a joke. But at the end of that day I got a notification that he has indeed blessed me with some cash.
I know this was God way of giving back the money I spent on my evangelism day and He gave me back ten times more!!
Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38
Let’s always give whenever we are able to. It doesn’t matter how much we give as long as it’s coming from the bottom of our hearts. Because it is the hand that gives that is blessed!
