It was about 2012 and I was down on my luck out in Los Angeles, I was so down om my luck, i was homeless and sleeping in an alley with my sleeping bag. I never felt sorry or pity for myself because i knew that God, somehow, someway, sometime in the future would set me back on my feet, and he did. I spent 3 years, yes 3 years, sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles, but I know now that God had a lesson for me and I would not change a thing.
One early cold morning I was sleeping between some office buildings right off the alleyway, and it was foggy that morning also. So, I got up and hid my sleeping bag in my special place for later, and then I turned my thoughts to the big question of my day ahead, which was, where am I going to find food.
You see, I had not eaten any food in over three days, and I was very very weak, and I remember saying to myself that if I could just find $2.60 cents I could go to that breakfast place around the corner and eat. Also, as I started to make my walk down the alley, I heard a very soft heavenly voice say to me, “These are the times, which try men’s faith”, I knew it was God’s voice. The voice didn’t come from inside my head; it came like it flew on the wings of the wind!

City of Toluca Lake in Los Angeles County, alleyway.
As walked about 50 yards down the alley in the fog, I see what looks to be an old man walking with a cane coming out of the fog coming towards me. So, we both stopped and greet each other, but i now remember that I never saw his eyes, even though it was foggy he never turned his face towards me, I was waiting to see his face, his eyes.
He then said to me and pointed in the direction that he came from and which I was going, that by the red poll at the end of the alley on the left, that there is a house there with a tree in the front yard. He then said to me that under the tree there is some money there.
I said goodbye to him and started walking towards the house, but I stopped and turned around and went back to see which way he had gone, and I could not find him. I went and found the house with the tree in the front yard, got on my knees, and after 3 minutes of digging I found the coins, just like he said! You want to know how much it was?
$2.60
Question: Did I eat?
Answer: You bet I did
Statement: It is better that you believe in the Lord now and not wait until your last days. God has made himself known to me in more than many ways, shall I pretend that he has not? I dare not…
These photos are the photos of the alleyway where I talked to the angel of God. Look down the alley in one of the photos and you can see the red brick pole that the angel told me the house was.

Hello Emory,
Thank you very much for posting my story, I will look it over and add my comments as you suggested.
To God be the glory!
– Prince Ray Mann de Bourbon
So touching story. I have been wondering if God actually exist. Thank you. I have also endured a living nightmare of my own making. Because of Christianity I turned my back on everything that truly mattered. My family completely abandoned me, disowned me, and cast me out of my community. I thought I was choosing a higher path, but I was only walking straight into my own ruin.
When crisis started, I turned to the very place I sacrificed everything for. I crawled to the church, begging for a piece of bread, for shelter, for mercy. But all they could give me were bible verses and prayers. They fed me scriptures while my body withered away.
In my absolute desperation, I swallowed my pride and tried to return to my people, begging for forgiveness and a chance to come home. But the doors were shut in my face. I am completely rejected, left entirely alone in the bitter cold.
Presently, the agony of starvation and isolation is absolute. My stomach pierces with a sharp, constant pain like the bite of a crab. The physical hunger is nothing compared to the suffocating darkness in my soul. I am trapped in a prison of my own regret, cut off from human warmth and basic survival.
I am completely broken. With no family, no community, and a church that offers nothing but words, I am left with nothing but agonizing pain and absolute despair.
I needed just a little more courage to suicide. The pain is too much. I have been contemplating suicide since morning till I read your message.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 KJV
May the Lord intervene in your situation and give you rest. May the Lord calm every storm. May you experience the Lord as the Shepherd, and lead, guide and protect you in Jesus name.
Shalom
Till date, we experience angelic visitation and even our Lord Jesus visitation in situations where human help is impossible. I too have experienced the divine visitation in the past. Of course, as one turns around to see the person after the visitation, one will be surprised of his disappearance. During the visitation one will be at peace. May the Lord continue to reveal Himself greatly in our midst to His glory in Jesus name.
Shalom
