I am sharing this testimony in a very emotional state. God is good, and I cannot thank him enough for his love and mercy over my family and me, in spite of all my imperfections.
I study at my friend’s place every night since we are both preparing for the same professional examination. On the night of December 30th, 2016, we decided to study late into the night because we will not be studying on the night of 31st being the crossover night and 1st of January which is the new year.
I left his apartment around 1.30 am in the early hours of the morning of the 31st of December 2016. I followed the usual route I take to my home from his place. Everything was calm, and nobody was speeding. I was driving quietly and listening to some amazing Christian music over the radio. I was at a speed of about 38 mph (the speed limit on the road is 40 mph), and I was in the right lane since I was going to make a right exit to my home.
However, about quarter of a mile from my exit, a quiet voice just told me to change lanes from the right lane to the middle lane because the right lane was slightly bumpy ahead. I looked into my mirrors. There was no car in sight, and I changed lanes. Just about two seconds after changing the lane, a car sped past me at probably about 100 mph and the car went to hit the car that was right in from me. Apparently, the driver of the speeding car was being pursued by the police.
The accident from their collision was terrible. Both cars spun off the road. I do not know if anyone survived the accident. Cops arrived at the accident scene a few seconds later, and everyone was directed away from the accident scene.
I want to thank God for sparing my life in a split second. I also want to pray for the people that were involved in the accident, and I pray that God will preserve their lives. Thank you for reading my testimony, and I pray that God’s protection will always be upon us in Jesus’ name.
Amen! God is Always good!
OMG!! That is amazing… Maybe that little voice that was speaking to you was the Holy Spirit… whispering you from danger… God is definitely and always good! Thanks for sharing your testimony. GB. ^_^
Praise God! You listened.
We all need to listen when He talks to us.
Great and mighty is our God!
The meek will He teach his ways……
May God give us the ability to be sensitive to His STILL SMALL VOICE.
Bless you .
i love reading these and then i’m struck by the apparent randomness of it all because there are devout christians serving God who have been rammed up the back in their cars and have had their mobility and circumstances ruined in an instant. Who can answer?
It was a touching testimony from Olalekan, The child of prayer never perish/get lost. Not only me thanking Jesus for this I know.
Prayer is important but many Christians do not wage spiritual warfare. Our parents protect us when we are kids but when we grow up, they expect us to take care of ourselves since we are well-armed to do so by then for sure. This is not to say that they won’t protect us when we grow up or we can’t protect ourselves when we are kids, but there is a certain responsibility that comes with growing up. many Christians simply want God to move but they do not change their asking and pleading prayers unless their life is in danger.
About this miracle…God does not need to look into the rear view mirror 🙂 He knows the end from the beginning. He is outside of the space-time domain and so knows all things. Because the writer of this testimony is a born again believer, the Spirit of God (eternal) lives in them. So they had access to that omniscience. They hearkened to the voice (it was not against God’s Word, as proven later). So they got saved. God is truly good, truly all the time!
Hello everyone, this morning I had a school exam and I decided to take a taxi. I called Uber. The driver came after 5 minutes. I got I to his car and he started driving and after driving few miles he made a U turn and we were hit by another car who were behind us. My Uber driver was speeding and before he made the U turn he didn’t check properly and as result we were hit by another car. I know accidents happen and we all make silly mistakes that will cost us our life. I am still in a shocking state. Nothing happened to me and thus includes the driver . I know that was a Miracle. God saved my life this morning. The devil had made a plan to see me in the grave but God rescued me and he snatched me out of his hand. I am not the same person anymore. I have come to realize that the Lord has a plan for me. You see, I am a single mother to a four year old beautiful daughter and I am grateful that God didn’t allow to see her becoming an orphanage. He permitted me to live again and fulfil my purpose in this life. God bless you . God is real and He is not dead. He is surely alive..
Amen. Our GOD is more than able despite devils plan. His name be praised forever
I recently reflected on how good it is to be alive and thanking God. A car came toward us swerving across the median in front of us and missing us by about 20 feet, then crashed into a power generator 10 feet from us, which blew up in a flash of white light. The explosions kept coming. If we had been a few seconds earlier, we would’ve hit that car head on. I believe God’s angels were involved. I’m amazed the guy in the car got out with a scratched arm.
I was traveling on I-5 and got crashed by a drunken woman speeding in her car. I wound up hospitalized with multiple broken bones. God did save me as well as he sent good samaritans to pull me from my car before the ambulance had time to reach me.
Pray for my recovery as it will be a least a year to be more recovered.
I had a TBI and still get almost daily headaches from this. I would like to be pain free, but it’s only been 2 an a half months since this crash happened.
Praying for God’s healing miracle. Amen.
