Hi everyone. My name is Lynzie, and I am 14 years old. Today I want to share my testimony about how God has worked in my life.
Not too long ago, I was in a really hard place. I was struggling with depression, and it felt like I was carrying a weight on my shoulders every single day. I didn’t always feel happy, and there were times when I felt lost and unsure about who I was or what my purpose was. I would go through my days trying to hide how I felt, but on the inside, I was hurting.
As I looked at my life, I realized I didn’t want to stay in that place forever. I knew something had to change. I wanted to become a better person, not just for myself, but for my family too. They mean so much to me, and I wanted to be someone they could be proud of. I wanted to find joy again and become the person God created me to be.
That’s when I decided to start taking my relationship with God seriously. I began doing Bible studies on my phone every day. At first, it was just a few minutes here and there, but over time it became something I looked forward to. Every Bible study taught me something new and reminded me that God loved me no matter what I was feeling.
I also started praying every night before I went to bed. At first, I didn’t always know what to say, but I learned that God wasn’t looking for perfect words. He just wanted me to come to Him honestly. Some nights I thanked Him for everything He had done for me, and other nights I cried and told Him everything that was on my heart. Prayer became a place where I could be completely real.
As I kept praying and reading the Bible, I started to notice changes in myself. My problems didn’t disappear overnight, but my heart began to change. I found hope where I had once felt hopeless. I found peace even when life wasn’t perfect. I started believing that I had a purpose and that God had a plan for my life, even when I couldn’t see it.
One of the biggest blessings God has given me is the amazing people He has placed in my life. I have found friends who truly care about me, encourage me, and support me through everything. They remind me that I’m never alone. Having people who love me and point me in the right direction has made such a huge difference in my life, and I thank God for every one of them.
One of the happiest memories I’ve made was going to a Brantley Gilbert concert. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I had so much fun, and it reminded me that life isn’t only about the hard moments. God also gives us joyful memories that we can hold onto. That concert showed me how important it is to enjoy the blessings He gives us and to make memories with the people we care about.
Looking back now, I can see that God was with me even during the times when I felt the most alone. Even when I couldn’t feel His presence, He never stopped loving me or working in my life. Sometimes we don’t understand why we go through difficult seasons, but I believe God can use those seasons to make us stronger and bring us closer to Him.
I’m still learning every day, and I’m not perfect. I still have challenges, but now I know I don’t have to face them by myself. Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed, I know I can turn to God through prayer and His Word. He gives me strength when I feel weak, peace when I feel anxious, and hope when I feel discouraged.
My testimony isn’t about having a perfect life. It’s about serving a perfect God who stayed with me through some of my hardest moments. He helped me find hope again, and He reminded me that my story wasn’t over.
If there’s one thing I want people to take away from my testimony, it’s this: no matter how dark life may seem, God is always there. He hears every prayer, He sees every tear, and He never gives up on us. There is always hope in Him.
Today, I am thankful for how much God has changed my life. I am thankful for my family, for my friends, for every lesson I’ve learned, and for every blessing He’s given me. I’m excited to continue growing in my faith and becoming the person He has called me to be.
Thank you for listening to my story. I hope that if you’re going through a hard time, you’ll remember that God loves you, He has a purpose for your life, and He can bring hope even in the middle of your hardest days.

Hi Lynzie, thanks for a beautiful testimony. At more than 4x your age I could very much have given this testimony of my life too. So much in your testimony resonated with me.
I was really blessed and encouraged to keep keeping on.
Thank you
I like the beauty and simplicity of your story. Keep seeking Christ and stay connected with your friends and family and church and you will keep growing in faith!
