Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am writing to you from a place where declaring faith in Jesus can cost everything, even life itself. My previous name was Arabic, and I grew up in a Muslim environment where changing religion brings severe persecution from family, community, and society.
For a long time, I searched for the true Savior and the true God in this universe. Doubts about my former religion filled my heart, leaving me lost and restless. Then, by God’s grace, I found Jesus Christ, my Savior and my Lord. In Him I discovered true peace, forgiveness, and eternal hope. My soul finally rested in His love.
With all the strength of my mind and heart, I confess to you with complete sincerity: I believe in Jesus Christ fully and truly. He is my Savior, my Redeemer, and the Lord of my life. I have accepted Him completely, and nothing can separate me from His love.
Because of the extreme danger in my country, there is no safe church where I can be baptized, and traveling abroad is nearly impossible. So, I have chosen to remain a secret believer for now, keeping my faith alive in my heart while living carefully day by day.
Please understand my difficult situation and accept my testimony as genuine. I humbly ask for your prayers, that God will strengthen me, protect me, and give me courage. Also pray for all persecuted Christians around the world, especially those who, like me, must follow Jesus in secret. May the Lord preserve us until the day we can worship Him freely.
From today, I take the new name: Michael, a name I love because it reminds me of the archangel Michael who stands strong before God. I am a new creation in Christ, born again by faith in Jesus.
Thank you for being my witnesses in this moment. May God bless you abundantly.
In Christ’s love,
Michael

Amen.

Michael, I’m blessed to hear your confession that you have found Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You have brothers and sisters all over the world who are with you and support you in the Lord. We are praying for you. Keep seeking Him.
“And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.” Isaiah 62:2 KJV
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 KJV
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2 KJV
Thank God for making you a new creature and giving you a new name. To God be all the glory for the salvation.
With the Holy Spirit around you, you will be guided and taught about spiritual things needed for your spiritual growth. Always depend totally on the Holy Spirit. Read your Bible regularly and pray regularly. You can fellowship online but just be spiritually sensitive concerning what you listen to and that is why the guidance of the Holy Spirit is very important. I will always pray along with you.
May the Lord strengthen you and teach you by Himself. May you never return back to the world. May the Lord sustain you in Him forever. May the Lord reveal His purpose for creating you on the earth to you and empower you to fully fulfill the purpose. May the Holy Spirit always teach, comfort, guide, lead and reveal all truth to you always in Jesus name.
Shalom
Welcome to the family of God, Michael. In your situation follow the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 7:6. Whenever I meet someone new I always test their faith by mentioning God, church, or prayer in a non-threatening and non-judgemental way, then I see how they respond, and I try to judge where they stand spiritually. Ask God for wisdom and be extra careful sharing your faith. I hope to meet you in heaven, brother.
