Jesus Protected Me in a Car Accident

Good evening, my name is Geshen Gideon Sonny, I am 27 years old, father of two, from a small town in South Africa, KZN called Greytown, I am now a firm believer of Jesus Christ.

on 21-06-26 at approximately 19H10 (Father’s Day) I was traveling from one town to the next, after spending the day with my kids. From Pietermaritzburg to Greytown, South Africa KZN, on the R33. It was when I met an accident with a company vehicle. The vehicle hit into an embankment, it flipped and then landed on its three tires. The car was a write of instantly.

The amazing part is that I was not injured, not a bruise, fracture or scar. I can try my best to describe the feeling, it was the most chaotic, rough and rowdiest moment of my life, but also the most peaceful moment in my entire life, as the car flipped, I called on the name of Jesus… what was a few seconds felt like an hour, just waiting for the cracks and bangs to stop. There was such a peace that came over me, like something I have never felt.

That very night, I couldn’t sleep, I kept replaying the accident in my head, fast forward to the morning hours, there was a song that played in my mind… it’s called, I love You Lord and goes like this, let it be a sweet sweet sound, in Your ear.

Whilst that song played in my mind, I had a vision of a heart, this heart seemed as if it was made out of a sponge or plastic material, and this heart was pressed on either side, cause a thick liquid to pour out. It was then when I heard a voice say to me,

“I CANNOT POUR INTO SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY FULL”.

And I believe that was Jesus, the same Jesus who protected me in that accident, was asking me to empty my heart and rid of all the things that are in it so that He can pour into my heart.

I have come to the understanding that I am so undeserving, unworthy of the love, guidance and protection. I did nothing, to receive this love, this peace and yet here it is. I have come to an understanding, that no amount of sin can separate Him from us.

This is just the beginning of the work that is cut out for me, I will not stop testifying of the love that Jesus shows me daily, the peace that I receive which is beyond my comprehension and I know that He will vindicate on my behalf always.
