I have been to complete insanity and have come back thanks to Christ. I started hearing voices in the first week of my freshman year in college, at IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania). Shortly afterwards I went completely off the deep end. I thought that I had psychic powers and that the voices in my head were other people on campus talking to me, I was wandering around campus late at night screaming.
One night the voices had me convinced that I was killing people with my powers and that I had to get away from campus to save their lives, I picked a direction and started walking. I walked across town and came to a dead-end street and the town ended and the forest started. I kept walking. It was about 3am and I was just walking around out in the woods, there was a good 5 inches of snow on the ground, and it was around 20 degrees out and nobody knew where I was.
The voices were telling me to keep going, finally I heard something howling and that is when I decided to go back. I retraced my steps by following my footprints in the snow and eventually was back in town and I returned to IUP. I had friends and was going to class and was taking care of myself but in my world lots of strange things were happening.
I paid my grandparents a visit (they lived close to IUP) and one night I was convinced that some people from school had followed me back from campus and were up in the attic watching me with hidden cameras, I took apart everything in the room trying to find the cameras. I could hear voices coming from the attic, I did not realize that I was hallucinating! I eventually landed in the psych ward at the local hospital and they put me on medication which did not work. I gave my life to Christ in 2003 and I was delivered from the voices and God restored me to a right frame of mind, I am now restored to normal health!
The voices you were hearing were demons tormenting you. What you experienced was real. Praise the Lord in delivering you from demonic oppression. Had it not been for Jesus delivering you eventually those demons would have told you to kill yourself or start killing other people. Demonic oppression is real very real. I once had a neighbor who used to hear voices beginning at the age of 6 telling him to go punch this person in the face go punch that person in the face and he would do it. This went on for quite some time until he got saved. After he got saved those voices stopped. One day while my former neighbor was praying while in his house he suddenly heard voices telling him: “We are going to kill you.” He kept praying and those voices stopped for good.
Thank God for His intervention. God is truly our present help in the time of trouble. Thank God for the plans and purposes of the evil ones do not come to pass in your life.

Sure. My wife would hear voices in her head which disturbs her sleep, me and everyone else she loves. Saying things that are untrue.
We just got married and it has tore our families apart, but I am believing God for a permanent touch of deliverance…

Kwaku, I understand what you are going through this early stage of your marriage. The above scriptures said the end of the trial is sure because there is Prince of Peace that can calm every storm. So, keep your faith and hope alive. You must have an expectation (hope) for you to have the needed results. All things are possible to them that believe. Don’t let the devil weaken your faith. Once your faith is intact, the mountain shall be subdued
Have you contacted a medical Doctor to see if the case could be attended to medically?
For spiritual aspect, this is my view through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Whenever the devil attacks us, he has got a legal ground that gave him access into us. Of course, the legal ground the devil is using might be due to ones past sin or the sin of one’s parents or grandparents. Whichever, there is a legal ground that always give the devil access to attack us
Bro Kwaku, the knowledge of the legal ground that gave the devil access to attack your wife is important because the Bible says we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. The knowledge of the ground the devil is standing on can be revealed by the Holy Spirit. So, you need to seek the face of God both you and her and the Lord will surely reveal every secrets.
As I have said earlier that it is sin that always gives devil access to attack us either our sin or parents or grandparents ones. So, the need to first seek the face of God for forgiveness of sin is much important. Tell her to ask for the forgiveness of her sin or of her parents. If she is not yet saved, she must first get saved because salvation is the main deliverance anyone can have. Then she should ask for the mercy of God. Once God has shown her mercy, all the ground of the devil is cancelled. Then she should ask the blood of Jesus to cover her and speak on her behalf. Then she should bind the strong man and cast out the forces of hell tormenting her. The binding of the strong man and casting out the forces of hell are much effective when the powers are oppressing. Her faith must be firm and that of you or people praying with her as you bind the strong man and cast out the forces of hell. The Bible says at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess the Lordship of Jesus. So, you bind them and cast them out in the name of Jesus.
May the Lord fight for your wife. May the Lord be merciful unto her and nullify every ground the devil could be standing on to oppress her. May every storm around her be totally calm and may she be fully delivered. May you enjoy your marriage. May your marriage be peaceful, joyful and successful. May the Lord be with your marriage always and may His mercy never depart from your marriage. Waiting for your testimony soonest in Jesus name.
