I Had an Encounter with Jesus

Everyone, my friends I’m 34 years old just wanna share my personal encounter with Jesus last year on 6 April. Our church had a one week fasting in prayer with everyone. So, for morning and evening we just had prayer and worship songs and feeling of the Spirit. It was in conjunction with Easter, so all of us were required to fast before coming. So, on day number six, which was the 6th of April, I was worshiping God in church.

As usual being myself by that time there was a song playing, there was a song that I like that kept repeating in my mind; it was called, “Holy, holy, there is no one like you”, by Pat Barrett. My son was with me on the Mat just singing and praising God and just lifting up his name and that song just keep coming to my mind and keep repeating in the spirit.

And as I was worshiping God in the spirit, suddenly I felt the presence of God come to that place. I saw a man walking towards me and I saw him my new was Jesus, and this Jesus that I saw was filled with compassion and love like no other and he saw me and I saw him. I couldn’t really see his face. With so much of love and compassion, he said,

“Where have you been?”

like he was always waiting for me, you know like a friend like a relative, so close a member and I felt so close to him. He said,

“Where have you been? I’ve been waiting for you.”

And with so much love he just wanted to hug me. And I was approaching to hug him, and I was drawing closer to him. I couldn’t give him a full hug because I felt so unworthy. I felt so much love so much compassion.

At the same time, I felt his holy presence, and I felt so unworthy as a person, so unclean. So, I just gave him a half hug, and I fell to the ground. I cried with so much of tears in me and just weeping and weeping a lot. I’m not worthy. I’m not worthy, and I heard his audible voice saying to me,

“You are mine.”

So clear, the audible voice of God, not any other thing but his own voice. He said, “you are mine,” and then I realized that I just saw a vision in church. It wasn’t a dream. It was life happening at that situation.

And at the end the pastor asked if there is anyone touched by God who wants to share a testimony, please raise your hand. And first, sister said that she experienced the presence of God and she heard her voice, “You are mine”.  So, then I being the second one to testify. I testified about my vision that I also heard the words, “You are mine”.

So, this testimony is actually for every one of you hearing this testimony. Jesus is real. He’s so compassionate. He’s so loving and he’s looking at each and every one of you today, telling you that you are mine, that you belong to Jesus he is yours, whatever you’re going through.

If you feel that no one is loving you, there’s no one that you can depend on, Jesus is waiting for you to draw closer to him because he’s waiting for you. He’s gonna say the words that he said to me, “Where have you been? I’ve been waiting for you.”

So, I just want to encourage you with this testimony, I hope it blesses you, and I hope it lifts up your soul. I hope you draw closer to Jesus. Jesus loves you and he’s so compassionate if you just open up if you just draw closer to him, he’s there waiting for you. Praise the Lord!
