He Restored Me to Be a Witness

Hi, my name is David Raj, I am from India, Hyderabad, I am a born Christian, my Mom and Dad were Christian.

I was raised with good religious beliefs; my childhood was good. I had been sent to church from my childhood. I learned good stories about the Bible on our Sundays. I was very good in our youth group as well. I used to attend the meetings regularly and I gave my life to Jesus Christ when I was in my teens.

Then after my college, I got into a job and started going away from God. Then I got a good job in a big MNC. I was very happy, and I was sent on a job assignment to the USA for 3 months. Now that I am into MNC, I got used to having beers and parties. So it happened that I got into the habit of having drinks regularly. Then after coming back, I was working in the MNC, and giving my best, so I got promoted as assistant manager operations, and I was again sent to USA to transition one more accounts payable process from USA California to India.

I was leading a team of 6 members, and the transaction was for 3 months, so our job transition started quite well. I was as usual having good time on weekend’s having drinks and getting buzzed up. I was having it like this for the whole of the 3-month period. When we reached completing the process assignment, I got a big headache and vomiting, so my team members took me to a Hospital in the USA. The doctor checked and informed me that there is blood block in my brain, and I need to be operated on it quickly.

When I informed my wife in India about the same, she asked me to come back to India, and we will have the treatment done here in India. So, after completing the process assignment, I came back to India with blood clots in my brain. Once I reached India, Hyderabad, I was taken to a hospital and I got operated on (my head), and clots were removed. But as the operation was related to the brain, I was advised by the doctor to be on a complete rest, no work. I was on rest for 1 month, and I joined the job. It went on well for some time and I got pain again on my head. When I contacted the doctor, he asked me to be out of office, till I recover, so I have to leave my job and was at home recovering.

After lots of days with lot of prayer by all my friends and family members and well-wishers. I got myself out of bed. Once out of bed I tried for my job, but I was not given the job back in my previous office, so my doctor advised me to be on rent for some more time.

After some time, the doctor advised me to stay out of work because I was not fully fit to take up the job. So, it went on like this for 2 to 3 years. I got a big heart problem; I got a stint in the heart. I was rushed to a hospital, and I had an operation on my heart and a stint operation was done on my heart. I was done with the operation on my head and operation on my heart, so I was very low physically. After this covid spread in India.

So, as I was staying at home, I felt I will be safe, but I got covid and got treatment and got saved. This is all because of the prayer by my wife and all my family and my friends. I got out of covid as well. I was saved by my Lord Jesus Christ; he gave his grace and peace and gave me a new life. I thank God Almighty for providing me healing in all my medical problems. He is the one who restored me and kept me alive to be a witness to the people around me.

I can only say Lord Jesus Christ has given me a new life and made me to be a witness to all.
I am active and stable till date without any further problems. All glory and honor to my God my savior Jesus Christ.
