1.5 years ago, I wrote down a testimony with tears in my eyes, praying and believing for something that looked completely impossible to me at that time. I wanted to get into nursing school so badly, but financially and emotionally, everything felt against me. I questioned myself many times. I wondered how it would ever happen.
But God already had the plan written.
Miraculously, our Lord Jesus Christ opened every door that needed to open. I got admission into nursing school when I thought there was no way possible. My tuition and fees were completely paid, and my husband stood beside me and supported me financially through it all. Looking back now, I realize none of this was luck it was God’s hand over my life the entire time.
There were moments when I felt frustrated because I could not find the part-time job I wanted. At that time, I did not understand why things were not working out for me. I felt stuck and worried about money. But now I see the bigger picture. God knew that if I became comfortable with a job, I may never have gone back to school. That season of discomfort pushed me toward my purpose.
Sometimes God removes comfort because He is leading us toward our calling.
The Bible says:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
And another verse that speaks deeply to my heart:
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4
I truly believe when God places a desire in your heart, it is not random. Many times we think it is our own dream, but God is the one shaping us, changing us, and preparing us quietly behind the scenes. What is destined for you by God will come at His perfect timing.
Today, I stand here close to finishing nursing school, and I already know God will help me pass my license exam on the first attempt and bless me with a wonderful job. Not because life is easy, but because He has carried me this far already.
To anyone reading this: do not lose hope. God hears every silent prayer, every tear, every moment you think He is not listening. Even when nothing makes sense, He is working in ways you cannot yet see.
If God did it for me, He can do it for you too.
Trust His timing. Trust His process. Keep praying. Keep believing.
With God, nothing is impossible.

Thank you Priyanka for your testimony. I join you and many others especially your family and friends in prayer that God gives you more success in your lincense exams followed by a job of favour. Amen.

I think careerwise, i have been in that place of discomfort for about thirty years now. In 2009 when i got a good job in a miraculous way and went back to God in prayer to tell Him i would have wanted something else, He spoke to me that even that place was temporal and He was leading me somewhere! 17 years later i m still grudgingly following His leading and He has been quite active in still speaking of what He has in mind in a haze of many dreams, voices and experiences. On my own i would never have chosen this path because of the disappointments, pains, losses and frustrations involved but He has never left me without a reminder of His vision for me. What He shows me and where i am now are poles apart but He is the master weaver and like you said from scripture – with God all things are possible. Our expectations when surrendered to Him can never be cut short though they may meander through grey and even dark places.
Another scripture in Romans 8:18 says –
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. This is not only about our eternal destiny with Jesus after this world, it’s also true for our temporal lives here.
Your testimony and verses remind me of this song:
