From The Cross To The Grave

A witness to my personal testimony

My name is Hilary King and I live in Christchurch, New Zealand and this is my personal Testimony, concerning the painting called, ‘From The Cross To The Grave.’ I would love to share my testimony around the world after I boldly came to God. After I made myself available to God, my calling and experience took place. I promised God that I would tell the world on what was shown to me and to give hope to the Gentiles of this generation, that Jesus really has resurrected, and he is asking everyone, “Are you ready?”

This event took place on the 22nd of June 2004 on Tuesday afternoon, after spending time praising, worshipping and praying to God in my room. I then walked downstairs and headed out towards the garage and stopped at the aluminum glass door that goes out to a garden area and I looked up. It was a very cloudy day that afternoon and suddenly I saw Jesus riding on a long white cloud, over the whole of Christchurch, and He was half sitting in a tomb with his long legs straight. He looked tall and skinny wearing a white robe. I looked at His face and His face was looking at me and moving, like He was talking to me and then after a while I asked, “Who are you?” just standing there in awe, even though my mind knew who He was at that moment. It was as if He was drawn with a huge charcoal pencil but with cloud; The outline of the tomb and Jesus was in dark clouds and was coloured in with white clouds, then as Jesus ascended headfirst, the clouds turned into a swirling grayish cloud. I’ll explain a bit better for you.

Imagine in slow motion, His head ascending, a little above from where His head was originally and disappeared into the cloud but as His head disappears, all that is left is a gray cloud; it was like the dark and white colour blended in together and then the rest of Him was following to where His head ascended. This slowly continued from His neck then His body and last of all His feet. It was amazing! I waited till He was completely gone.

Because of this I feel like I’m one of many witnesses to his resurrection. In the Book of Acts 2 Verse 17 says, “This is what I will do in the last days, God says: I will pour out my Spirit on everyone. Keep reading Acts 2 Verse 19 says, “I will perform miracles in the sky above and wonders on the earth below. Months later, I worked with God to paint what I saw, after each step-by-step instruction from God I would stop and wait for more instructions of what to do etc” Visions or words would come to help me with this painting whenever I asked God questions.

Just when I thought the painting was finished, it wasn’t. I was then shown in a vision to put Jesus on the cross as seen in the painting, so I did that and thought I was finished, but I wasn’t. I was going to put the sign above the cross, but God said these words, “That is not necessary,” so I didn’t continue this. I then completed the flowers on the left, the grape vine with ripe grapes on it in the middle then the trees on the right.

When I finished the painting, God said, “It is beautiful?” so I stopped. God told me to call this painting, ‘From The Cross To The Grave’. All this took time and patience and each moment of completing something, the painting was starting to communicate everything in the Bible; a message to all of God’s sons and daughters.

God loves us so much and wants His children to come back to Him through His only Son Jesus Christ. Come as you are, and He will show you His love, grace and mercy. He is waiting for the lost and the broken hearted to seek Him first, put God first above all else every day. All the good things in our lives come from God so we should thank Him and praise Him for that and to get into His presence.

Pray and meditate on the Bible, adding nothing or taking anything away from it. The Bible is Jesus’ testimony and Gods love letter to us all. Worship God, our heavenly Father and don’t stop seeking Him, repent every day with a humble heart for all your sins so that He can forgive you and sin no more then begin an awesome relationship; one on one with God through Jesus Christ, our Saviour today! We are nothing alone but with God we are made whole and made ready for eternal life. His offer to us is a free gift of life through Jesus Christ! The only time to have this awesome personal relationship with God, our creator is right now!

Read Psalm 139 God, our creator knows everything about us. God is everywhere so he can be found, there is no excuse, remembering that God is holy and to perhaps make a special room in your home to meet Him in prayer everyday with some soft gospel music in the background. God loves all of us, He’s our living God and He wants a one-on-one relationship with you!

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him (“in Christ”) we would become the righteousness of God.

Now this is awesome! He’s offering you an exchange! He took your sin, now He says, “If you’ll receive me, I’ll give you my righteousness. He comes to you and says, ” You are a sinner, you deserve to die, but because I love you, I will die for you. And He dies on the cross, but then He says, “Now if you’ll accept my free gift; if you’ll accept eternal life, it’s my gift to you, and all you have to do is to confess your sin, receive me, and I will take your sin and I will give you my righteousness; I will take your death and give you my life; I will take your darkness and give you my light; I will take your mess and confusion and give you my peace”?

You can see that He wants to be involved in all areas of your life; to help you in many ways bless those who read my testimony and seek God for themselves through His Word, to be put back on track and back with God now and forever, you’ll never regret it, Amen.
