To all you troubled minds… perfected love awaits you. Such a love banishes all fear. And this Love is Jesus Christ.
Lets start a simple journey . First you need to understand when Jesus got sent on earth , he had to adjust to the living of human beings. He was used of the spiritual world so in this essence He was like a foreigner visiting a new place. Â Imagine you have a son and this son sets on a journey to a foreign land. He does not know the customs of such a land but will do his best to learn them quick. One thing your going to bank on him to do is behave according to how he saw His father did. He will do things His father did, associate with the natives like how His Father would have done to visitors at his home and even treat everyone according to the customs he learnt from His Father. Now lets see what Jesus did when He was on earth.
For starters, there is a moving story of a prostitute, who was put on the street for stoning. There are places that still do this to adulterous women. Now what would God have done to this “filthy, promiscuous woman”. Many of us would say, God would punish this woman day and night, inflict her with diseases, break her spirit and cause her to die. So if this was the case, we should expect Jesus to have done the same. In fact, He would have joined the crowd and even pass more judgment to this woman. However, he did the opposite. He forgave the woman and told her to go and sin no more. And in doing so, Â this woman was the only one in the bible who had a personal moment by wiping Jesus dusty feet with her hair. She was compelled to do so because she was filled with the love of God. Of course, the other only person to do such an act of love was Jesus. When he washed all the disciples feet with his bare hands a piece of cloth .
Okay lets look at another behavioral trait that was portrayed by Jesus. Take a journey to all his sermons. Can you imagine sitting together with people you know who hate you so much and are practically aspiring to kill you. The Pharisees followed Jesus every where he went but Jesus never took any bad vile hatred for them. If it was a normal person, he would have grown bitterly with such crooks, hold immense grudges and set a move to kill them instead. Ok let me magnify this for you to feel the pain Jesus was feeling. Take a moment and think of a person who works, or lives, or spends time with you. He/ she gives you plastic smiles, even though you know they gossip bad about you. They pretend to be your friends but in reality are busy back stabbing and causing rifts between you and your friends. These people would rather see you fall down in every area of your life rather than prosper. How would you feel towards these people. Would you welcome them to your big feasts [birthday parties or ceremonial parties]? Would you welcome them to your social area and let them listen to your personal stories with your friends. Would you even have the heart to give them a chance to speak to you in front of your friends, knowing that they are mocking at you directly in front of your friends? You see how hard it is? I mean , your heart would be filled with unforgiving hate for such a bunch and wished they never came across you ever. Whenever they come near you, your heart, mouth and brain would be filled with vile. But Jesus did the opposite. He let these enemies to His sermons, His parties , His relatives, His friends, and till to His death bed and also to His time of resurrection. He never dismissed them away. This kind of love my friend is a rare type.
And the final kind of example, is the multitude of healing he did. Some of these people were not friends of God, they were in the darkness, serving satan day and night. Like the prostitute, the tax collector . You should ask yourself, why would he heal such people and yet they caused havoc on earth.
Then the ultimate price, is getting nailed on the cross for all of us. Every human being on earth who wants his grace has now an opportunity to enjoy this love. Its the purified love of Christ. No man can give you this, not your mother , not your spouse or lover.
What does God say about Fear and love ?
In 1 John 4:18 nkjv:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,
because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Again God defines love this way in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is  not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
I am confident that in Satan’s kingdom, the spiritual blessing given to the recipients is FEAR. Where as God gives LOVE
What would Satan’s bible say about his spiritual blessing of Fear.
Fear is impatient
Fear is Unkind
Fear is proud
Fear dishonour’s others
Fear is self seeking
Fear is easily angered
Fear keeps all records of wrongs
Fear delights in evil and always rejoices with lies.
Fear always harms/attacks/hurts/injures.
Fear always doubts/uncertain/wants to control.
Fear despairs / worries.
Fear always Quits/ ldle/lazy/lethargic [ drowsy, sluggish]
Love is Patient
Love is Kind
Love does not envy
Love is not proud
Love honours others
Love does not self seek
Love is not easily angered
Love does not keep any record of wrongs
Love does not delight in evil and always rejoices with the truth
Love always protects/shelters/stonewalls.
Love always trusts
Love always hopes.
Love always perseveres
So my dear friends what does your heart have? Love or Fear. If you have a more tendency of Satan’s blessing, I suggest you read God’s Word daily [ and i mean daily because if you can watch t.v or use the net daily 365 days a year, which is the same as meditating on Satan’s word, you can also do it for God }
Ask Jesus Christ to fill your hearts with his love, because perfected love banishes fear. He wouldn’t have managed to tolerate all his haters and all the ridicules without such a love.
God bless you all.
Love rules !
