My Testimony of Divine Visitation And Deliverance

Read through this testimony with sensitivity in the spirit. The bible says, we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). You shall have a testimony as you read this testimony:

I used to be afraid of spiritual warfare, in fact, any little trial, I ran away until one day I found myself in a spiritual warfare which I needed to choose between life and death. If I run as usual, its eternal damnation but if I stay and fight the warfare, it is eternal victory. What a turning point in my spiritual life.

On Sunday, 21st May 2006, as I was in my house at Oke-Owa, Ijebu Ode, in the evening, the Lord said to me that I should go and check the headlamp of my car to see if ok. I then went because I was on a morning shift from the next day and I will drive from my house at about 5:30am to the Brewery where I worked then. On putting on the car headlamp, I saw that the one by the driver’s side (left side of the car) was partially burnt, that is, it was only the dim light that lit, the full light didn’t. The Lord then said I should go to Abeokuta Road to buy a new headlamp bulb. I didn’t argue and I drove there.

As I got to Abeokuta Road, I turned facing home and I went to buy a new headlamp bulb in a spare parts shop. I came back to the car, opened the bonnet and I began to remove the partially burnt headlamp bulb so that I can replace it with a new one. Suddenly, I saw a boy of 12-14 years moving from the back of the car through the other side of the car. I noticed him when he got to the other side of the bonnet as I couldn’t see the back of the car since the bonnet was opened.

He moved towards me and stood by my left side while I was by his right side. He wore a dull white T-shirt and a red coloured trousers, holding a Bible with red coloured back. He declared boldly in Yoruba, my mother tongue, that he wants to preach to me. He began to preach repentance to me as I was working on the headlamp.

Suddenly, I heard a voice around telling me that “am I not born again already”. Though I was born again in 1991, I was lukewarm at that time of my working in the Brewery. I declared to the boy that I was already born again, according to the voice I heard around, but the boy declared boldly to me:

“Let us pray.”

He prayed for me and I experienced peace within me. As he finished the prayer, I have finished the work of the replacement of the partially burnt headlamp with a new one. He then moved in the direction the car was facing. I offered him money but he didn’t accept it, so I closed the bonnet as he moved and I came into the car. I moved the car in the same direction he went.

As I moved the car, the Holy Spirit said to me: “Why didn’t you listen to the boy”.

I replied: “ok, I will turn back at the roundabout ahead to go and look for him.”

It didn’t occur to me that I didn’t see him as I moved the car. I turned the car at the round-about and I moved through the whole length of the road searching for the boy but I didn’t see him. As it was getting dark at about 7:00pm, I replied to the Holy Spirit: “I didn’t see him, so I am going home.” I then came back home.

I didn’t know what happened that Sunday, 21st May 2006 along Abeokuta road Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria until after 2 years that I knew the Lamb of God visited me on that Sunday 21st May 2006 and called me into Ministry and commissioned me (Isaiah49: 5-12).

It is our Lord Jesus who can pray for us (1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 9:11-16). Angels cannot pray for us. Also, only our Lord Jesus can show love and mercy during a divine visitation. Angels do not allow one to stand against their words as we saw with Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist when Angel Gabriel visited him and he stood against the word of Gabriel, he declared that Zechariah shall be dumb for a while(Luke 1:5-25).

Jesus Christ, Our High Priest, the Lamb of God, saves us through His blood to the uttermost, we that come unto God by Him and He lives forever to make intercession for us. He said later to me that a lamb represents the young of a sheep, so He appeared as a Boy, the young of a man to represent the Lamb. That the red coloured trousers represents His blood which He shed for the remission of our sin. The dull white T-shirt represents the sin of the world He carried upon Himself which He used His blood to purify and having the sealed Book of Revelation Chapter 5 in His hand in order to begin the opening of the seals for the launch of the End time events.

• The money I used to buy the new headlamp bulb in the spare parts shop represents the Ransom (the blood of the Lamb) paid for our redemption.
• The spare parts shop represents the Heavenly realm where we obtain newness, be it new body parts, new grace etc.. through the Blood of the Lamb.
• The replacement of the partially burnt Headlamp with a new one represents the uprooting of the Kingdom of darkness and the planting of the Kingdom of light (Genesis 1:2-5, John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:13).

The driving in the direction the boy moved shows moving behind the Lord Jesus to spread the restored light to all parts of the Earth (Numbers 10:33-36, Luke 23:26, Revelation19:11-14, Isaiah 45:1-2). He that had mercy on me led me (Isaiah49:10).

Thereafter, on Friday 26th May 2006, there was a restructuring in the Brewery and I was among the workers laid off. I was paid off, so I left Egypt with substance. I was planning to go to Lagos where I was on a waiting appointment in a Company at Apapa but on Sunday, 28th May 2006, how I found myself in Abeokuta could only be God.

Though, on Friday, 26th May 2006 after leaving the Brewery, I had gone to a Church in Ijebu Ode and upon the altar, I made a vow with the Lord that:

“If He gives me the job only He can provide, I will give Him one-quarter of the money I was paid off.”

I just found myself in Abeokuta not knowing what I came there for and in the process of walking aimlessly, on Friday 28th July 2006, the devil set a trap for me in the night and I fell into it. I sold out my destiny and my calling to him for 1,000 Naira in the same car around where I had the divine visitation of Sunday, 21st May 2006. The devil attacked me heavily unknown to me that night. Though, when I got home that night, I cried bitterly before God for mercy.

Before I will begin to experience the manifestation of the devil in my body, on Wednesday, 9th August 2006, as I was at home in my house at Abeokuta, the Lord said: ”Give me half of the vow you vowed on 26th May 2006 in Ijebu Ode”.

I argued with the Lord: “Lord, the vow was that, after you have given me the job, I will give you the one-quarter; I told him further that: “how much is left with me, I need to rent a house in Lagos because I still believe I was going to Lagos”.

But thank God for His mercy and love, He enveloped me and I gave it out, I wrote the cheque of 50,000 Naira being half of the 100,000 Naira that the vow was and paid here in Abeokuta to the branch of the Church where I made the vow.

When it was time for me to go to the Church in the evening, I had put the cheque earlier inside my Bible and as I got into the car, the Lord said to me: ”Open to where you put the cheque in your Bible”.

I then opened the Bible and it was 2Chronicles 1:1-3:4 and my eyes went to 2Chronicles 1:1; “And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom and the LORD his God was with him and magnified him exceedingly”.

I then closed the Bible and drove joyfully to the Church and I gave the cheque with joy. Thereafter, the manifestation of the attack began. In fact, I was a walking corpse that period. I couldn’t sit calmly, there were several pains in my body. I was only at peace when I sleep. Different accidents that the Lord helped me to escape, in fact the spirit of death was contending against me that time.

I used to feel pains by the left side of my abdomen when I pressed the side against things, I thought I had a wound there but not knowing that, that is the main seat of the demons that attacked me, when I pressed that side against anything, they felt discomforted, so they bite me and that was the pain I used to feel.

Despite all that great trials that period, that word of the Lord of Wednesday, 9th August 2006, strengthened me in the Lord and kept me going in the warfare.

It was later that I got the meaning of the Lord’s intervention of Wednesday 9th August 2006, that through that 1,000 Naira of Friday 28th July 2006, I sold out my calling and destiny to the devil, so I lost it but the Lord redeemed all back to me through the fulfillment of my own part of the vow of Friday, 26th May 2006. Therefore, the faithful God shall fulfill His part by ensuring that He still give me the job only Him can provide, which is the Ministry He has called me into.

Therefore, the word of the Lord of Wednesday, 9th August 2006 made me to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. The LORD my God was indeed with me all through the trials till the day the victory finally came and the devil was subdued.

Before the victory will come, you need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Don’t lose hope in that battle you are going through, victory shall surely come one day. Devil wants you to lose hope so that he can overcome you as you accept his thought.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:31 KJV

During those periods of the manifestation of that attack of Friday, 28th July 2006, the devil hid himself from letting me to know that he was the one behind the attack. He kept giving a thought of other things until around Sunday, 14th January 2007 that I got that it is the devil that was behind the attack, so I know who to now face.

On that Sunday, 14th January 2007, I was fed up with life and I said to myself, what made me to come to Abeokuta, is it not Lagos that I had in mind to go. So, I was thinking of running away from the trial as usual, I thought of going to Lagos.

Then the Lord spoke: “What took you to the Brewery”.

I replied Him: “I did their test and interview and I passed excellently, so they have no choice than to employ me”.

The Lord said: “No, you ran from a trial in your house at Lagos and that took you to the Brewery”.

As the Lord said that, I said yes.

In 2002/2003, there was a serious battle in my family at Lagos, this made me to be looking for every avenue to leave the house. The battle started when I finished my National Youth service corps (NYSC) in May 2002 and by 2003 it had been very great.

I applied into the Brewery and before the result of the test and interview I did came out, I ran from Lagos to my friend in Port Harcourt. The journey took 2 days, because of serious hold-up on the road. The fourth day that I got to Port-Harcourt, I was called by my people in Lagos through my friend’s number that I dropped with them, that the Brewery had given me an offer and I should resume to their Imo State Brewery the next day. I couldn’t pray about it, as I was looking for how to run from home and finally it has happened. So I reported in the brewery and the journey in Egypt Started.

So after the Lord had made me to know that it was because I ran from a trial in our house at Lagos that made me to go to the Brewery. He then said: “if you run again, you shall be doomed forever”. I then said: “I now know, it is You that brought me to Abeokuta because how did I get here against my plan of Lagos, I don’t know”. By this, I knew that God brought me to Abeokuta by Himself for a purpose and the devil has been standing against me so that the purpose won’t be fulfilled.

I then declared that day:

“Devil I ran for you in 2003 but this time, you shall run for me”.

Since that Sunday, 14th January 2007, “this time” has always been a present time. The devil has continued to run for me at anytime from that day. I stopped from then being the one running in the midst of the spiritual battle but it is now the devil running in any battle.

This is what happened to me on Sunday, 21st May 2006 along Abeokuta Road, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria, the Lord wanted to take me into the realm of conquering battles, the realm of fulfilling His purpose for me and as at that time, I was lukewarm. I was in Egypt, the Brewery, where I worked. The Lord brought a message of Repentance to me.

The devil knows what I stand to gain after that repentance, so he distracted me by telling me that I am already born again. I listened to him but thank God for His mercy and love that stood for me that day, the prayer of the Lord for me despite my shortcoming and I was restored via the prayer back to my salvation of 1991. This restoration of that Sunday 21st May 2006 saw me through when I fell into the trap of the devil on Friday, 28th July 2006 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. That restoration changed me from being the one running for the devil to the devil being the one running for me and that is the stand till today.

You have seen how my restoration to my salvation was the genesis of my victory over the devil and how the devil intended to stop me from getting restored. You must not allow the devil to cut you from your victory. In case you don’t have salvation yet, then you cannot enjoy the support of God in your spiritual warfare. You need to first be saved before you continue to read the remaining parts of this testimony which launches into the fighting of the spiritual warfare.

Let us pray:

• Ask God for the forgiveness of your sin as you confess them before God.
• Ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life and become your Lord and Saviour.
• Believe with your heart that your prayer has been answered.

You can now pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, forgive me my sin and redeem me from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light through Your blood which you shed on the cross of Calvary. Make me a new creature today and make the old things to pass away. I confess You as my Lord and Saviour, come into my heart and direct my life forever, in Jesus name I have prayed.

As you have prayed this prayer in faith, you are now Born Again, you are a new creature. Write today’s date down in a place for you to remember your date of new Birth. Pray and study the word of God regularly so that you can grow in faith. Also declare your salvation boldly to people so that they can know that you are a new creature. Attend a Bible believing church and participate in their programmes so that you can grow spiritually. You are now welcome to the winning side.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” Romans 8:14 KJV

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Which were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” John 1:12-13 KJV

As you have received Jesus Christ today, He has given you power to become the child of God. You are now being led by the Holy Spirit. What a day today. Heaven is happy about this your decision today, my prayer for you is that: may the Lord make you a pillar in His temple so that you shall be His own all through your life, in Jesus name.

If you are already saved then hold fast unto your salvation, do not allow the devil to take it away from you because it is a precious gift. Salvation is the Visa to gain access into the winning realm, which is the first thing God will put in place before He enters into ones battle. Even for the backsliders, He will first restore them before He enters into their battles to fight it for them.

If you are lukewarm or have totally lost your salvation, it’s time for you to get restored back as it happened for me and return to the winning side. Don’t allow the devil to deceive you too that you are already saved, the Lord is by your side as He was by my side on Sunday, 21st May 2006 ministering repentance unto you. Accept His prayer as I did on that day.

You can now pray this prayer: Lord, You said whosoever that shall call upon You, You will not cast out. My Lord and my Saviour, I return back unto You today, let Your power of restoration fully restore me back unto You today. Let me begin to fulfill Your purpose for my life from today. Make me a pillar in Your temple forever, in Jesus name, Amen.

Hurray, you have been restored today. Continue to grow in faith. What a day.

It was the word of God that finally gave me victory over the attack of Friday, 28th July 2006.

On Sunday, 21st January 2007, as I was praying in the afternoon in my house, the LORD said: “I will contend with them that contend with you, for I am Jehovah Sabaoth”. As soon as the voice of the LORD came, I saw the Assyrian truly beaten down. I saw a movement of an object in my left hand, I saw the physical movement in my hand as my hand swelled as it moved. A day before then, that is, Saturday, 20th January 2007, I had confessed the sin of that Friday, 28th July 2006 to a friend who is a Pastor, though I had confessed it before God same day it happened when I got home that night.

When I noticed that strange movement in my hand, fear came upon me for my faith had not been strengthened for the spiritual warfare then. So I ran out to my friend who is a pastor for help leaving God who had spoken. The man was not around but shall come back in the evening, so I drove my car to the spot where I fell into the trap of that Friday, 28th July 2006 and in the hot afternoon in a busy environment, I was on the floor asking for the mercy of God. I never thought of people around me, this was a battle of life and death. I haven’t seen such manifestation of the devil before. My younger brother was with me as I was praying for the mercy of God, only my younger brother could know how the people around the area of the stadium where I was praying will be looking at me but I didn’t see anybody.

Later in the evening, I went to meet my friend who is pastor in his shop. I was expecting him to cast out the demons for me but he said we will all (myself, himself and my younger brother) embark on may be 7 days prayer and fasting. I returned home in fear, being restless of the way out. Instead of returning back to the LORD that spoke in the afternoon in my house, I was caught up with the fear of the evil manifestation around me. The fear kept increasing in me but the love and mercy of God still enveloped me. Yoruba has a proverb that:

“When a child gets to the place of fear, he shall be afraid”.

I truly got to the place of fear that Sunday, 21st January 2007 and I was caught up with the fear. Since fear had taken over me, the manifestation of the power of God through the voice of God spoken in the afternoon ceased.

Our God is more than able to deliver us from any attack of the devil. Just wait on him and trust him totally, your victory shall surely come.

After the LORD had spoken on that Sunday, 21st January 2007 that: “I will contend with them that contend with you for I am Jehovah Sabaoth” and I have seen the demons running in my left hand and fear had gripped me. I continued in the fasting and prayer as presented by that my friend who is a pastor, even though there was fear of the demons in me. I kept going to his shop from morning till evening to pray.

On Tuesday, 23rd January 2007, as I was in his shop here at Abeokuta around 5:00pm, he went out of the shop and as I was praying, suddenly I noticed a movement from my left abdomen of an animal with a long tail moving with its belly and I felt its hands and legs, the animal was a reptile like Lizard, Crocodile, Alligator etc. It moved from my left abdomen to my right abdomen in fierceness and then moved upward to my right lung side and then crossed to my heart. When I noticed it in my heart, fear came over me and when it noticed that I was afraid, it went back to the left abdomen side where it had been all these while.

The LORD then said to me: “Ask for my peace and strengthened faith”. I asked as the LORD ordered and I resumed the prayer again. The demon came out as before through same path as the first but this time around, I was not moved. It came to my heart in fierceness, roaming over my heart but I wasn’t moved. I kept praying and after a while, it ran away from my body.

Not knowing that they were two, the second one too came out of my left abdomen side, same type of animal, it moved through same path that the first took. The second was bigger than the first and moved more fiercely then the first. I was still not moved by all its fierceness. It then moved from the right side of my abdomen to my right lung side and then to my heart and moved through my heart in serious fierceness but the peace of the Lord was upon me and my faith was strengthened such that I wasn’t moved by its drama at all.

After a while, it also vanished from my body and then other tiny ones began to run out of my body through almost every parts of my body. I then declared to the devil: “you have run today, you shall run forever”. The devil has truly been running since then. At the end of the victory, my friend who is a Pastor came back to his shop and I narrated what had happened to him. Thanks be to God for restoring me back to His earlier word of Sunday, 21st January 2007 which the devil distracted me from by my running to a man for help but the Lord still glorify Himself and He liberated me via His word.

This victory of that January 2007 opened me up to Spiritual warfare. This become the foundation of my victory over the devil and the Lord has since then been subduing the devil and his demons before me. They have always stir battles against me and I have defeated them in all. I that used to run away in the midst of spiritual warfare, now become the one that makes the devil and his demons to be the ones that run away for me in Spiritual warfare.

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. And base things of the world and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence”.   1 Corinthians 1:27-29 KJV

As the LORD empowered me, the weak vessel, so also He can empower you to become more than conqueror. Just have faith in Him and His word. God wants to do a great thing in you, don’t listen to the devil.

“For though, we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”
2Corinthians 10:34 KJV

You have the needed weapons of warfare, begin to make use of those weapons to pull down every strong holds of the devil. You can do it, don’t let the devil deceive you. Every spiritual warfare involves adequate preparation for one to be successful. Get all the truth you need about your enemies, the needed power of God and the spiritual terrain where the warfare is taken places. You must guide the truth carefully because the devil will want to make it void with his lies.

“Howbeit when He the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself but whatever He shall hear, that shall He speak and He will show you things to come” John 16:13 KJV

Always allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into the spiritual warfare so that He can reveal all the truth to you. Never cut off from Him in the midst of the spiritual warfare.

Before the victory of the Lord began on Sunday 14th January 2007 i.e. between say Wednesday, 9th August 2006 and Sunday 14th January 2007, the devil kept telling me different lies. He made me not to know that he is the one behind the attack, he kept telling me that, it’s a particular issue or the other and I was flowing with him because the truth has not come yet.

In fact, on Sunday, 7th January 2007, I was writing an Exam and the devil said to me: “why am I disturbing myself about what to write in the Exam that I won’t live to finish the programme?” I knew it was the devil talking but the lie seems to be the truth to me that time because I didn’t know what was next. I was truly dying gradually that period. But thank God for the truth that came the following week, Sunday, 14th January 2007 and the lies of the devil were subdued and I am still alive more than the end of the programme.

Of course, when the truth has not come, the devil will come up with different lies but when the truth comes, all his lies shall vanish. You must be firm in the truth because the devil will still want you to lose the truth knowing that, that is what will set you free. Whatever the trial is, just go in search for the truth about the trial and when you get the truth your victory shall surely come.

This is a sure truth for all believers from our Lord Jesus:

“…And lo I am with you always even unto the end of the world, Amen” Matthew 28:20b KJV

One day, after the Lord had delivered me, He said: “until one is able to share the deliverance he/she has got as a testimony before the victory can be permanent.” That day, I sent the testimony of my deliverance to about three of my friends through text messages. The testimony then started to bear fruits and I too became strengthened in the Lord.

You must be careful before you start to share the testimony of your deliverance because the devil is not happy of your deliverance. The devil could attack you through your sharing of the testimony if you are not spiritually sensitive. He could also use the testimony to create fear in the people you are sharing it with and then bring the people into the bondage of fear. You must be led by the Holy Spirit whenever you want to share the deliverance as a testimony.

“I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” Ecclesiastes 3:14 KJV

“…affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9 KJV

Every victory God has given stands forever. Keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. You just need to be spiritually careful of the deception of the devil. The victory the Lord has given you shall be permanent in Jesus name, Amen. Affliction shall not rise the second time, in Jesus name, Amen. Remain delivered forever.
