My name is Christina and in 2017 I was living in a home that had a lot of drug activity – marijuana alcohol and methamphetamine people always coming and going and also was engaged in a lot of evil television programming. At this time, I started hearing these voices that would tell me I needed to die I didn’t deserve to be here. They would do this all the time and they sounded like my family.
These voices would do this for days at a time would not stop and they continue to get louder and louder in my head to where I was no longer able to notice if somebody else was trying to talk to me. I would be in a constant argument with these voices. It became so bad that I was no longer able to get anything done other than getting up and going to the bathroom and right back to bed.
My husband stopped taking me to appointments because I would be screaming, arguing with these voices every day. I would be up for 3 to 4 days in arguments. At one moment I had the voices convince me that I didn’t deserve to live and I started my bed on fire twice. Thank God my husband was there and able to put the fire out and get me away from there.
My husband went through every emotion from sincere caring and loving, asking me what he could do to help with the voices sweet and sincere, but I wasn’t able to give him any suggestions. So, it went from the sweet, concerned emotion to where he got angry screaming and yelling at me to shut up because he was tired of the screaming and yelling all the time.
As my husband tells me, one night I was lying in bed sleeping and this voice came out of me saying,
“Why won’t you let her go?”,
and my husband replied she is mine I will never let her go. That is the point in time when these demons left me, and I was saved from the torture I was going through. My husband told me that my skin was so hot to the touch he could not even touch me. This lasted for 23 months. And today my husband is helping me grow in my faith in Jesus Christ and I understand that He is the one who saved me.
Many years ago a friend gave me this scripture and an explanation I haven’t heard anywhere else since.
1 Sam. 11,9- … say to the men of Jabesh Giead, by the time the sun is hot tomorrow you will be rescued. He said in life most adverse situations won’t change until we get to a point when we really cannot take it anymore, then we will get the faith to do what we have to do to bring it to an immediate end. Talk of faith that moves mountains!
As I write I also remember Gen. 27:40- “By your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother; but when you grow restless, you shall break his yoke from your neck”.
I believe that’s the point Christina’s story got to and the husband in holy anger, declared the faith filled words needed to extract victory from above.
I just got to that point myself – receiving all manners of warfare and victorious dreams especially over the course of the last one year. Yesterday I got one that showed end of contention and reception of blessings and as I m awaiting manifestation, I got another about 15 minutes ago trying to drag me back to the days of contention. I just finished rebuking the devil over those lies and declaring that old season gone and welcoming my new season of manifestings of blessings when your story came in. So I know it’s no coincidence that it carries the same theme with my declarations now.
So congratulations to you two as you continue to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for us.

Christina, when I read to the point where you said, the devil spoke through your mouth and your husband allowed the Lord to speak through his mouth, I knew the victory has come and reading further to see that you said so, that the victory came as the devil was replied.
When battle gets tougher, the devil shifts the ground to our minds to shake our faith with his thoughts and words. Goliath was doing same to David but David stood on the word of God. When Goliath rushed towards David, David was not scared but he too counter the Goliath and Goliath has no choice than to bow. We get our victory over the devil through the voice of the LORD. Every Assyrian shall be beaten down at the voice of the LORD.
Thanks be to God for not making the plans of the devil which is are: to kill, steal and destroy, to come to pass in your life.
May the affliction never rise again. May the Lord continue to strengthen you in Him. May the Lord use you to His glory. May you fulfill the purpose of God for your life. May the Lord bless and prosper your marriage. May your home be peaceful and prosperous. May the devil never be able to have access any longer into your family. May the Lord watch and guide your home in Jesus name.
