Provision in Poverty: The Gift of Education
I come from humble beginnings. My mother and father raised three children in poverty, and there were times when it felt like only God was truly watching over us. When it came time for higher education, my parents honestly told me they could not afford my college fees. But I had a deep desire to study, and God provided. Through a person in my village, I found a part-time job that allowed me to support myself.
I attended a government-aided college in Karanthai, Thanjavur, studying Chemistry. God did not just help me pass – He blessed me to achieve University Third Rank in both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. Chemistry degrees.
Opening Closed Doors: From Distress to a Career
After graduating, I took a job as a college lab assistant, but my heart wasn’t in it. For a whole year, I felt trapped, stressed, and cried daily, pouring my heart out to God for a breakthrough.
The same person from my village became God’s instrument again, introducing me to a contact in the pharmaceutical industry. I sent my resume and attended walk-in interviews. After facing three painful failures, I finally secured a Quality Control (QC) job in Chennai. The salary was very low at first, but God promoted me step-by-step. Today, I work in Quality Assurance (QA) with a better salary. That progression was a true miracle.
A Miracle of Life and Death
God’s miraculous power was proven deeply in my family when my brother accidentally consumed three packages of rat poison. He was hospitalized and under intense treatment for two weeks. By all medical logic, it was fatal, but God chose life. My brother fully recovered, and he is alive in this world today because of a divine miracle.
A Mother’s Present Battle and Unshakable Trust
Before I was even married, I received a spiritual sign that I would have a baby. In my second month of marriage, I became pregnant. However, this journey has been filled with intense family problems and immense struggles regarding my baby’s health.
In my life, I have learned that God does not always perform miracles in a fraction of a second. Sometimes, there is a period of deep longing, heavy pressing, and intense spiritual labor before the breakthrough arrives.
I am sharing this testimony today as a first step toward my baby’s complete recovery. I know that if God could lift me out of poverty, give me academic success, open career doors, and save my brother from poison, He is capable of healing my child. I trust Him completely. He will recover my baby.
