Just want to thank God for helping me with all my final A-Level exams and for being such a faithful father to His children. I wrote the first lot of exams last year and got high grades (although I knew I could have done better) and was ready to enter into the second year. I wasn’t sure what to expect as the content is obviously more advanced in the final year and just prayed for God to get me through and with His help and by His Grace I received offers for a majority of the universities I had applied to but I still needed to get the grades required. Upon sitting exams I started to doubt that I would make the grades but still kept a positive outlook and continued to pray.
On results day, I found that I had gotten into my 2nd choice. The pleasant thing about this whole situation is that I actually really desired to go to this university from the beginning its just that I obviously had been praying to get into the ‘better’ one. God knew my heart and I had to trust that He would be with me wherever I went – (‘And He said unto him, My presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest’- Exodus 33:14 KJV) . Although I didn’t get into my firm choice I was somewhat glad (I still got high grades by the Grace of God but not matching their requirement). However, I know the devil tried to throw his lies at me as I saw others getting into their own first choices and I started to feel like I wasn’t good enough. But, I thank God for blessing me and to be honest I am extremely happy that he has given me a place at a fantastic university that I know would have been even better than the first in so many ways (not just saying this). We just have to trust Him and know that even when things don’t go our way, things are going His way and it will be for our good and for His Glory and he can use anyone, anything and change every circumstance.
God knows more than we do and he’s been to our tomorrow and knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end. What may look like a trial will be a triumph for you and for the glory of the Living God. Amen
