Hello,
I’m not sure where to post a prayer request. I live in Kenya and have been struggling for more than 10 years with OCD, porn addiction, and depression/mood swings.
My first marriage ended badly, and right now my relationship is on the rocks because of my insecurity and low esteem. I constantly accuse her of cheating and talking to other men online.
I have tried to use porn, weed, khat, alcohol and sex to calm the storm inside, and nothing has worked so far. I also live in fear that I have committed the unpardonable sin.
Please pray for me to be healed from OCD, anxiety, depression, porn, insecurity and victim mentality.
Man is made of spirit, soul and body. If someone is addicted to anything or in bondage, the person’s spirit, soul and body is seriously involved in that thing.
Our spirits are liberated through the power of God. Through prayer, our spirits are freed from any bondage. Our soul which is our mind is free through motivational words. The best motivational word is the word of God. You should fill your mind with the word of God. It is what one thinks about that one will become or plan to do. Fill your mind greatly with positive things. Nature hates vacuum. One’s mind must be filled with something.
Fear is a great enemy in life. Whatever someone fears, always come to past. Through prayer, cast down every fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. All things are possible to them that believe. For you to have the needed victory, you must have faith that the victory is sure.
In marriage, trust is very important. Allowing lies and fear into one’s marriage will not produce a successful marriage. Whenever thoughts come in, pray about it and have faith that it is subdued. Communicate regularly and freely with your partner.
You have not committed unpardonable sin. The bible says whoever that call on the Lord, shall be saved. Repent of your sin and ask for forgiveness from God and He shall forgive you and give you a new beginning because He has a great plan for you
Do you want to be saved, I mean become born again, then let us pray:
Ask God for forgiveness of your sin as you confess them before God.
Ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life and become your Lord and Saviour.
Believe with your heart that your prayer has been answered.
You can now pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, forgive me my sin and redeem me from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light through Your blood which you shed on the cross of Calvary. Make me a new creature today and make the old things to pass away. I confess You as my Lord and Saviour, come into my heart and direct my life forever, in Jesus’ name I have prayed.
As you have prayed this prayer in faith, you are now Born Again, you are a new creature. Write today’s date down in a place for you to remember your date of new Birth. Pray and study the word of God regularly so that you can grow in faith. Also declare your salvation boldly to people so that they can know that you are a new creature. Attend a Bible believing church and participate in their programmes so that you can grow spiritually.
As you are now saved, the Lord will deliver you from the OCD, fear, porn addiction etc. Pray for your total deliverance from those captivity.
You can also pray this prayer:
1. Ask God to be merciful unto you.
2. Ask God to give you the grace to conquer all those sin you have listed.
3. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you from now.
4. Ask God to reveal the purpose He has created you on the Earth to you.
5. Ask God for the grace to fulfill the purpose He has created you on the Earth.
6. Ask God to open doors of breakthrough for you.
7. Thank God for the answered prayer.

Thank you so much for your message. Sorry for what you are going through at the moment, but I want to assure you that you have come to the right place. I have prayed for you and I know thousands of people in this platform have also prayed for you. This was God’s will for you. I want to assure you that God loves you despite what you are going through. He loved us to the point of giving His one and only Son Jesus Christ to come and die for all our sins. I believe that Jesus is calling you. The only way that you can overcome all these things is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. By doing so you will overcome OCD and all these other addictions. I tell you this from experience. When you receive Christ, He will make you a new creation, and trust me when I say that He will make you a new creation. You will never be the same again. I say this from experience because the Lord delivered me from much worse things than what you are going through. You need to join a Bible-based-teaching Church where you can fellowship and grow in Christ; otherwise, the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy always wants to oppress people and being insecure is one of the ways satan uses because insecurity will always bring conflict and relationship issues. But when you come to Jesus Christ, He will give you the Holy Spirit who will minister to you and teach you how to trust. Remember love trusts at all times and the Holy Spirit will help you; He is our Helper. I don’t know which part of Kenya you are, I am also a Kenyan. My name is Denis Nyamweya.
